The Tory Burch Fund

In February,  I went to Suntrust, and I opened up a savings account. I figured- I’m an adult. I need one of these. It was probably the most practical thing that I have ever done besides buying that one piece bathing suit with a hood. HEY! Sometimes you need a built in hood to shield from the sun’s ultra-violet rays. I’ve been saving a portion of each of my pay check. Pat on my back. Then, about a month ago, I came across this bag…

Tory Burch Messenger. Perfect for the beach. And goes with any One Piece Hoodied Bathing Suit.

I came up with the second most practical thing I could do as an adult. Go back to Suntrust and open ANOTHER savings account and dub it- The Tory Burch Fund. Obviously, I don’t have $400 laying around for a Messenger Bag, and obviously, I need this bag. It’s practical. It’s easy to clean. It’s Tory Burch. It will be mine. I believe in some warped way this shows how great with money I am! I have the ability to save it- and spend it much later. Who’s got two thumbs and a savvy way of saving? This girl.

I’ve put away $25 per paycheck and have given myself a time frame. I’ve decided at the end of the summer- Labor Day weekend to be precise- I will go into my Tory Burch store and spend whatever I have in there.

These can get boughted too.

This may be one of the best ideas I’ve ever had. Saving Money- it’s the tits. New slogan right there.

  1. LOL! good idea … put away an amount until x-date, then spend what’s there on a big-money item just for me (not for the house, kids, etc). Thanks for the like on my blog-post.
